2007 – Hartselle, Alabama: This is a photo of me at 10 years old taking my first black belt test in my father’s huge 6600 square foot karate studio. Owned and operated by my mom and dad, a state champion fighter and revered martial arts instructor, this studio was more than just a place of practice – it was our family’s sanctuary.
2007 – Hartselle, Alabama: This was me just after 4 hour and 30 minutes of testing. I’ve forgotten a lot of the small details from this far back but I can tell you this – I was whooped!
2017 – I joined the Air Force at 21 years old. I shipped out of MEPs in Nashville and spent 6 months in Texas training.
2018 – Once I finished my training, I was stationed at Air Force & Army Joint Base Lewis McChord. I made more good memories here than a life could possibly remember.
2019 – I picked up a Canon T7I from the base bx (military walmart) and starting learning photography.
